Richard Bridge
President
Bridge-Vail Cabin, Lot 52

I am a third-generation owner of the cabin on Lot 52 which my grandfather, Elbert Vail, built in 1928. As a child, I came to Fallen Leaf every summer with my mother, Catherine Vail Bridge, and father, Art Bridge, along with my Uncle, Richard Vail and his wife, Betty, and my cousins, Steve, Rich and Brian. I have continued to take care of the cabin with my wife, Claire, and children, Nate, Meghan and Eric. Before retiring in 2023, I worked in project management of infrastructure-scale construction.

Michael MacNamara
Treasurer
Rowe Cabin, Lot 53

My wife, Alicia, is a member of the 4th generation at the Rowe cabin (Lot 53, 944 Cathedral Rd). I first had the opportunity to enjoy FLL in the summer of 2000, and we've had the privilege of spending time there almost every year since. The Rowe cabin was first built almost 100 years ago by Dr. Albert Rowe and his wife Mildred, and today it is shared by the descendants of two of their children, Robert and Edward. Alicia and I, along with our daughter Eloise, reside in Ashland, Oregon. For work, I do financial analytics and data science in the health insurance industry.

Terry Wedler
Director

Smith Cabin, Lot 13

My great grandmother and my grandmother, Margaret Smith, visited Fallen Leaf to stay at Glen Alpine Springs, in the late 1800’s. They traveled in a stage coach to Lake Tahoe, took a boat to South Lake Tahoe and then a horse and wagon into Glen Alpine. My grandmother continued to love Fallen Leaf.

In 1917 she purchased our half built cabin from the Emporium Family. Rontoni finished building the cabin located at the intersection of Cathedral Road and Rontoni Road. My dad spent every summer of his life at Fallen Leaf. I also have spent every summer at Fallen Leaf. I am married to Reed Wedler and we have two children, Jesse and Hoby.

My work was as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired. I retired , but now I continue to work part time for the Lighthouse for the Blind.

The Annual Association meeting is held on fourth of July weekend.
